Two young African-American Chicago female CEOs taking 2010 by storm:
The Engineer & Marketer, Innovatec Services' CEO, Fredricka Holloway and the Architect & Designer, Solquest Design Unlimited's CEO, Sharon Samuels
From college roommates to business owners with some serious drive, these two are creating some unique opportunities. Having worked together on various projects, Solquest Design and Innovatec Services have created a unique model packaging themselves to better serve their clients. They are setting the stage to focus on retail spaces, sustainable design, new and re-development, branding and the integration of technology. At the same time, these two are using innovative and common interest to break the mold. Both women operate two companies. Both are triathletes and look to utilize that market to promote and establish new projects. Both have some unique insight into how they approach developing their businesses into a broader spectrum that allows for further growth in their specific industries. "Not only must you constantly keep up with industry trends, you have to start thinking outside the box and ask yourself what increasing value can you add that makes your business or what you do unique," states Ms. Holloway.
